Attentive is a new, beautiful digital wellbeing app that makes app blocking easy, intuitive and fun. It let's you set up and schedule different app blockers for different occasions to take back control of your screen time.
In addition, Attentive offers a set of helpful, science-based Practices. Each Practice packages bite-sized background knowledge with fun illustrations to build better phone habits in the long run.
As people are getting increasingly more aware of the side effects that come with the ubiquity of smartphones, particularly caused by social media, limiting screen time is a goal shared by many modern day tech users. However, relying on will power and self-control fails more often than not. It is a real problem, and it is hard to solve.

App & website blocking is truly a helpful first step to take back control of one’s screen time. For users that want to take things further and tackle the problem at its roots, Attentive offers a set of easy and effective Practices based on the latest insights in psychology.
It starts with understanding and reflecting on behaviors, then motivates users to grow their own healthy smartphone habits and make them stick.
Each Practice combines helpful and important knowledge with fun, hand-drawn illustrations and animations by our artist Lea. The suggested habits are small and doable, and users can explore new habits step-by-step at their own pace.

Who makes Attentive?
Attentive is the new app of Meaningful Things. We're a small indie team from Tübingen, Germany.
Jan & Kerstin have been making apps for the Apple ecosystem for 10 years and you might have come across our first app, Focus, an elegant and feature-rich pomodoro time management app.
In 2020, Lea and Heiko joined our team and to build Attentive. Tech enthusiasts ourselves, we started out to build a tool that would help ourselves and others to shut out distractions, restore the ability to focus, and limit mindless screen time for good.
Because using tech should be both fun and useful - not stealing our time nor disrupting our attention. That's were Attentive steps in and we hope you'll like our solution as much as we do!
