How do I structure my day into focus sessions and breaks?

A simple four-step rhythm: plan, work, break, and review.

Focus is built on a simple, proven rhythm: work in short, focused intervals with breaks to recharge. Here's the daily flow.

  1. Plan. Each morning, add your most important tasks and choose what matters most. You can even estimate how many sessions a task will take.
  2. Work. Start a session on a single task. One session is 25 minutes of focused work; a full cycle is a few sessions with short breaks, then a longer one.
  3. Break. When the timer rings, step away — stretch, breathe, look away from your screen — then begin the next session refreshed.
  4. Review. At the end of the day, open Activity to see what you accomplished and whether you reached your goal.
