What is the Pomodoro Technique and how do I use it?
Work in focused sprints, then rest — a simple rhythm that makes starting easier.

The Pomodoro Technique breaks work into short, focused intervals — traditionally 25 minutes — each followed by a short break. After about four, you take a longer break.
The magic is in the rhythm. Twenty-five minutes feels small enough to start, even when a task feels daunting, and knowing a break is coming helps you stay present until the timer rings.
It's also a way to do the right work, not just more work. Tracking your sessions shows where your time really goes, so you can pick the two or three things that matter most and give them protected, distraction-free time.
In Focus, every session follows this pattern. Pick a duration, press start, and let the timer hold the structure for you.
