Multitasking feels productive, but your brain is really just switching quickly between tasks, paying a small cost each time. The result is more mistakes and more mental fatigue.
Single-tasking is the gentle alternative: give one thing your full attention, then move to the next. It's a small act of mindfulness that lowers stress and lifts the quality of your work.
When you start a session, choose one task. If your mind wanders, notice it kindly and return.
