Control Center Widgets for iOS 18

New with iOS 18, you can now add a Focus timer button that starts or stops your session from the Lock Screen, in Control Center, and from the Action button. It’s another useful way to customize your productivity workflow, providing you with quick and convenient ways to start your Focus session from wherever you like.

 
 

Moreover, we’ve added a set of complementary Control Center widgets for extending your session by 5 minutes, resetting your session, or skipping the session, giving you the option to fully control your timer from the Control Center.

Available Types of Control Center Widgets

  • Start/ Pause Focus Session

  • Extend by 5 Minutes

  • Reset Session

  • Skip Session

  • Create a New Task

 
 

How to Add a Focus Widget to Control Center

  1. Open Control Center: You can access Control Center by sliding down from the top-right of your screen.

  2. Tap ‘+’ at the top left of Control Center to begin editing the controls.

  3. Search for Focus and add your preferred Focus Controls.
